skeleton-278x225Healthy Bones week 1st-7th August.

Keeping your bones healthy requires more than just a glass of milk in the morning, in fact you need MUCH more calcium than that! You can get sufficient calcium in your diet by adding in foods like kale, spinach, broccoli, flaxseeds and sesame seeds, to name a few. Though a calcium rich diet does help,  your bones need a little more care and nurturing. Getting enough Vit D and weight bearing exercises such as weight training, squats or even jumping on a trampoline can help too. Chiropractic adjustments may also help with healthy joint function and relieving stress on the venerable areas.
